The Route

• Fishermans’ Bastion

Your photographer will capture mesmerising photos of you at Budapest’s most romantic location, the Fishermans’ Bastion, against stunning views of the Danube river, the Parliament and the opposite side of the city. The Bastion’s terraces and ornate stone stairs make a fairytale backdrop for your photos.

• Matthias Church

You’ll have your pictures taken in front of seven-hundred-year-old Matthias Church, a true masterpiece of Hungarian architecture with vibrant, colourful roof tiles, intricate carvings and Gothic elements.

• Off-the-beaten-track cobblestone alleys

Your photographer will walk you through picturesque winding alleys and hidden corners known only by locals. Time seems to stand still on those cobbled streets lined by historic buildings with ornate facades, and each photo of you will be like turning a page in a magnificent history book.

• Buda Castle

You’ll have your photos taken in the majestic courtyards of the Buda Castle complex, a stunning blend of Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance architecture that towers proudly atop Castle Hill and boasts wonderful views of the Danube river.

Photoshoot Starting Time

You can choose among two different start times for your photoshoot:

• Sunrise: 05:30 am - 07:00 am
• Early Morning Glow: 07:00 am - 08:30 am

Now you might be asking yourself… Why do I have to get up so early? Because that’s when the sun wakes up and paints the sky with its mesmerising orange and yellow hues! So, if you’d like to catch the rising sun at its grandeur, you should go for the 04:00 am photoshoot.

But, if waking up so early sounds more like a hassle than fun, you can opt for the 07:00 am photoshoot instead. The sun will be a bit further up in the sky, but that’s still a perfect time to capture photos of you in the golden glow of the morning light - all while the tourist crowds are still fast asleep!
