Let's start with the basics!

Wondering how to get around? The good news about public transportation in Budapest is that as a student, you get a discount! You can buy a monthly transportation pass (which covers buses, trams, trolleys, and boats) for 3,450 HUF (~ € 10) or a semester pass for 16,200 HUF (~ € 50).
